Since the announcement of the Jobfit and Baseline merger in November 2023, the consolidated business has moved from strength to strength — further cementing itself as a leader in occupational health.
Jobfit’s General Manager – Operations, Mitch Harvey said merging Baseline’s 250 on-site team members with Jobfit’s 350 employees has created a larger, more robust service offering for clients across Australia.
“Combining the strengths of both companies allows us to create a more integrated service offering for our clients and approach their needs from a more wholistic view,” says Mitch.
“We can offer solutions that solve a whole range of problems and deliver outcomes we weren’t able to offer before.”
The teams are working towards a successful integration of our operational and client relationship structures, which will provide much better support to our clients nationally across Baseline and Jobfit. Our mutual clients will have access to 400 plus healthcare staff across the country including 40 doctors.
The merger is regarded as a significant step forward for Jobfit and occupational healthcare in Australia, as well as opening up numerous opportunities for growth and career development within the organisation, promising a dynamic future for new and existing staff.
“The merger has offered a lot of opportunities for our clinical and management teams to grow their careers, because they get opportunities across multiple industries, geographies and our diversified client base,” says Mitch.
Looking ahead, the focus is on expanding site services in the Eastern states of Australia and diversifying service offerings to our client base to ensure our clients have access to a full suite of occupational health services.
“The growth we’re seeing is really exciting,” says Mitch, “both businesses are exceptionally good at their core offering — getting people on-site and conducting medical assessments — it’s opened our eyes to what’s possible in the future. By diversifying our services and growing across Australia, we’ll be able to pursue things that we haven’t done before.”
The strategic plan in place is clear and focused. The integration of Jobfit and Baseline is now complete, reinforcing the merged entity as a leader in the Australian occupational health industry.
