In response to the increased risk of the spread of coronavirus, a number of restrictions remain in place as outlined below.
As Jobfit provides essential medical services, it is business as usual for our teams. As such, our centres remain open during the lockdown periods for medical assessments and injury management services.
In regards to spirometry, this service will continue at Jobfit centres. We have implemented a range of additional precautionary measures to ensure ongoing protection against COVID-19 for our staff and your workers. These measures are aligned with the updated position regarding spirometry from The Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand (TSANZ).
If you have any of the following symptoms including fever, sore throat, shortness of breath OR you have been in contact with someone diagnosed with or suspected of having coronavirus, please DO NOT visit our Jobfit centres.

To ensure the ongoing health and safety of our staff and candidates:
- If ANY of your household contacts are unwell, please reschedule your appointment.
- If ANY of your household contacts are deemed a close contact or are in isolation, please reschedule your appointment.
Please either phone ahead of your medical assessment letting our staff know of your travel or contact history or alternatively, email us by selecting Reschedule an Existing Appointment. Please also contact the employer who referred you to Jobfit for a medical assessment to advise them your booking has been rescheduled.

Summary
We are ensuring our staff maintains high hygiene standards in our centres, including practising proper hand sanitising procedures, together with sneeze and cough etiquette. We have posters in all Jobfit Centres regarding COVID-19 and aim to minimise the risk of transmission.
All non-essential staff including our Contact Centre staff can work remotely to minimise the risk of widespread exposure.
