DO I HAVE TO BE VACCINATED TO ATTEND MY APPOINTMENT?

We welcome vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals to attend their medical assessment or appointment.

WHAT ARE THE RULES FOR THE JOBFIT CENTRE I’M ATTENDING?

You are welcome to visit any of our Jobfit centres if you do not have any COVID-19 or flu-like symptoms.

DO I HAVE TO WEAR A MASK?

Masks are no longer mandatory or required. If you still want to wear a mask, you are welcome to do so. Our staff may wear a mask for certain assessments, eg spirometry, as this remains a recommendation as per the Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand guidelines on performing spirometry during COVID-19.

CAN I ATTEND A JOBFIT CENTRE IF I HAVE COVID-19 SYMPTOMS OR ANY FLU-LIKE SYMPTOMS?

Unfortunately, no. You must not attend the clinic if you have any COVID-related or flu-like symptoms. This is in line with the advice to not attend work or school when you have symptoms. It is important to acknowledge that you may not achieve the best results during your medical if you are unwell and you may transmit your illness (COVID-19, cold or flu) to others whilst in our clinics.

I HAVE COVID-19 with symptoms or flu-like symptoms. CAN I REBOOK NOW?

You can rebook your appointment for a future date and time once you have recovered from your symptoms.

Where necessary, we are rescheduling workers and candidates who have COVID-19 or flu-like symptoms. It is important to acknowledge that your workers or candidates who have COVID-19 or flu-like symptoms may not achieve the best results during their medical if they are unwell and they may transmit their illness to others whilst in our clinics.

Our aim is to reduce the risk for transmission of COVID-19, colds and flu to our visitors and staff as far as reasonably practical. We are asking our clients to assist us in this regard by asking your workers or candidates if they have COVID-19 or flu-like symptoms before making a booking with us. If you need to reschedule a booking for your worker or candidate, please contact us. Clients who use MediManager can simply submit a reschedule request in the system.

Any bookings at a Jobfit centre that are rescheduled or cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be subject to our standard Did Not Attend fee.
