Leading occupational healthcare provider Jobfit Health has expanded its services following the acquisition of an occupational health practice in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT).
The Strickland Crescent clinic, currently owned by Aspen Corporate Health, a subsidiary of global healthcare provider Aspen Medical, will see Jobfit Health widen its delivery of services to support the health and wellbeing of workers in the ACT.
The acquisition by Jobfit – a division of Fullerton Health Australia – is expected to settle on November 20.
This latest expansion reinforces Jobfit’s position as one of Australia’s largest and most established providers, with a team of more than 300 health specialists in 35 centres across Australia.
Steven Harvey, Managing Director of Fullerton Health Australia says Jobfit is proud to be able to increase its offering in the Canberra market through Aspen Corporate Health’s Deakin-based clinic.
“Jobfit currently provides more than 50 different services to more than 5000 Australian corporate and government clients, including pre-employment medical assessments, injury management and prevention, drug and alcohol screening, health and wellness programs, vaccination services and travel medicine,” Steven said.
“Our clients in the ACT will benefit from a truly full service clinic with the added benefit of 24/7 support service, centralised online booking, standardised testing, flexibility and the large national footprint that Jobfit offers.

Bruce Armstrong, Chief Executive Officer of Aspen Medical says services under the new arrangement will be provided to key Aspen Medical Federal government and corporate clients.
“This will extend to referrals into the broader Fullerton Health Australia national network under a preferred provider arrangement,” Bruce said.
“The acquisition also signals an ongoing partnership between Jobfit Health and Aspen Corporate Health with the ability to join forces for a range of tenders that require the combined services.”
The clinic is located at Suite 4, Level 2, Peter Yorke Building, 173 Strickland Crescent, Deakin, ACT 2600.
