National occupational health provider, Jobfit Health Group, has appointed long-serving employee Vikas Dogra (Vik) to the newly created role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Vik, who has worked at Jobfit Health Group for more than 11 years, was most recently the company’s General Manager.
Vik’s role is part of a company restructure, in which Steven Harvey has stepped back from the day-to-day leadership of Jobfit Health Group to focus on his role as Managing Director of Jobfit’s parent company, Fullerton Health Australia at a time of significant growth in the company.
“It is with great pleasure and pride to announce Vik’s appointment as CEO of Jobfit Health Group,” said Steven Harvey, Fullerton Health Australia Managing Director.
“Vik has worked in multiple roles across the business, has intimate knowledge of our clients and market, has mentored many of our current and most dynamic young leaders and led the development of Jobfit’s renowned health monitoring system. He is perfectly suited to the role.
“Jobfit Health Group has fast become one of Australia’s largest occupational health providers, with close to 300 employees, across 37 sites and more than 5000 clients.
“With this, comes many challenges and responsibilities, so the Board of Directors and company management recognised the need for a dedicated CEO role to support ongoing growth.
“Stepping back from day-to-day leadership of Jobfit, I’ll now focus on the strategic direction of our Group, as we seek to conclude several important developments and our targeted acquisition strategy over the coming months,” Mr Harvey said.
Vik said he was humbled to take on the newly created CEO role.
“It has been very rewarding working for Jobfit and seeing the company grow into one of the industry’s leading providers,” he said.
“Thank you to Steven, our Board of Directors, and the wider team for their support and providing me with this opportunity.
“Jobfit has an exciting future. I’m looking forward to growing our national reach, expanding our client base, and adding more talent to our workforce.”
