Leading occupational health provider Jobfit Health Group has further strengthened its position in the Australian market following the recent acquisition of NSW-based Galen & Gray.
The acquisition of Galen & Gray sees Jobfit build on its growth over the past 12 months and expand its NSW network to six dedicated occupational health clinics, making it the largest occupational health provider in NSW.
Founded in 1996, Jobfit is a leading occupational healthcare provider with wholly-owned and operated centres across Australia. Jobfit delivers a broad range of occupational healthcare services to thousands of businesses nationally, including pre-employment medical assessments, work fitness assessments, injury management and prevention, drug and alcohol screening, onsite medical services, health surveillance, and health and wellness programmes. Jobfit is the occupational health division of Fullerton Health Australia.
The Galen & Gray clinics in Mascot, Liverpool and Rooty Hill will be rebranded as Jobfit in coming months. A new occupational health clinic in Bankstown is planned for later this year.
Fullerton Health Australia Managing Director Steven Harvey says Jobfit has been working closely with Galen & Gray leading up to the acquisition to ensure a smooth transition.
“Our Sydney team relocated to the Mascot clinic some time ago to ensure we established a strong working relationship with the Galen & Gray management group and practitioners,” Mr Harvey said.
“The co-location of the teams at Mascot has been an overwhelming success, and we are delighted all Galen & Gray employees have accepted employment with Jobfit, with former proprietor Dr Doumit Saad to continue in his occupational medicine role. It will be business as usual for our experienced and qualified staff and practitioners who will continue to provide a range of occupational health services.”
